CYBENETICS operates as an independent legal entity dedicated solely to product certification activities. As an impartial certification body, CYBENETICS maintains full independence in all its operations and ensures that no activity compromises the integrity or objectivity of its services.
CYBENETICS does not receive any financial support other than the capital invested in the company, including deposits, and the income generated through the provision of its services. This financial independence ensures that CYBENETICS remains free from external influence or pressures that could affect impartiality.
To support the certification process, CYBENETICS may establish business relationships with partners for activities other than certification. These partners are subject to ongoing monitoring and evaluation to ensure that their involvement does not compromise impartiality. Importantly, certification activities themselves are never subcontracted, as CYBENETICS retains sole responsibility for this critical function.
CYBENETICS does not certify any product from organization that is wholly or partially owned by CYBENETICS. This rule ensures that conflicts of interest are avoided at all stages of the certification process.
CYBENETICS does not provide consultancy services of any kind. This includes consultancy related to products that are certified, consultancy on client management systems, or the provision of internal audits of management systems. CYBENETICS also refrains from offering management system consultancy or any other form of consultancy where such services could create either a direct or indirect conflict of interest with its certification activities. In addition, CYBENETICS does not promote or recommend consultancy companies for itself or for other organizations. Clients are not misled by any suggestion that the certification process would be simpler, faster, easier, or less costly if they were to engage with a particular consultancy provider.
The certification services offered by CYBENETICS are promoted and marketed entirely independently, without being linked in any way to consultancy, testing, or any other services that clients may require. CYBENETICS does not pay commissions to consultants, thereby ensuring that consultants are unable to exert pressure or influence on the impartiality of CYBENETICS’s decision-making processes. Similarly, CYBENETICS does not accept any form of influence from clients, consultants, subcontractors, other certification bodies, or any external party that could compromise the impartiality of its activities.
The personnel of CYBENETICS are specialized and competent in the performance of certification activities, including evaluating, reviewing and decision-making and are committed to fulfilling its obligations to maintain impartiality. These personnel are not engaged in consultancy activities within the scope of CYBENETICS’s certification work. If personnel have previously been involved in consultancy within the same scope, they are required to observe a minimum two-year interval before participating in certification or inspection activities within that scope. This safeguard is implemented to ensure that impartiality and objectivity are always maintained.
CYBENETICS itself is not, and will not be, engaged in the design, manufacture, installation, distribution, or maintenance of any product, service, or process that it certifies. By maintaining this separation, CYBENETICS reinforces the impartiality and credibility of its certification and inspection activities.
Top Management is fully committed to the principles set out in this policy and ensures strict compliance with them at all levels of the organization. Continuous monitoring is undertaken to confirm that impartiality is upheld and that certification and inspection services remain objective, independent, and free from conflict of interest.
